The Perspective+ program aims to foster a culture of inclusivity in agricultural decision-making bodies, focusing on innovative ideas, training and personalized coaching in various sector organizations.

SPECIAL PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

Significantly increase the number of women elected to agricultural bodies

Serve as an advisor to meet the challenge of gender parity in agricultural bodies

Train and mentor women who want to serve in elected roles

Shape and revitalize volunteer activity in the various organizations for women farmers

The equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI+) component of the Perspective+ program offers consulting services to farm organizations for the implementation of specific, long-term campaigns to actively recruit women to elected offices and improve diversity and inclusion.

The coaching component of the Perspective+ program provides real-world support to regional women farmers’ syndicates in order to boost union engagement and professionalize organizations.

“Embarque!” is a political mentoring program that provides women who want to get involved in agricultural unions with support from a seasoned mentor. Program participants gain access to a variety of tools and training to help develop or improve their skills as directors.
