OUR “ENSEMBLE” PROJECT TO IMPROVE DIVERSITY IN AGRICULTURAL BODIES

The EDI+ component of the Perspective+ program offers consulting services to farm organizations for the implementation of specific, long-term campaigns to actively recruit women to elected positions and improve diversity and inclusion.

This express aim of this project is to increase the number of women elected to agricultural bodies in Quebec, by supporting various measures to improve gender parity within their decision-making bodies.

Achieving gender equality involves a significant increase in the number of women in agricultural policy circles.

Given that the agriculture sector is lagging well behind in terms of representation, every initiative that is developed, regardless of its scope, offers a vital tool for achieving equality.
